YOU MUST BE COMMITTED TOO
I'm sorry, but if I'm going to be honest with you, I have to tell you "there is no free lunch", no free ride, no way to get something of value for nothing!
You must be committed to your own case. You must be willing to invest the time, the energy and -- yes -- ultimately, the money, necessary to pursue your case to trial if necessary in order to obtain the fair and reasonable compensation that you are entitled to. If you have a philosophical concept of justice and believe that the heavens are going to open and your just reward descend upon you -- without your having to do anything -- simply because you are deserving, I'm afraid that you may have to wait to receive your just reward in another life.
This is "Caesar's World", the real world, the imperfect world, of mortal men where we have to dig, scratch and fight to obtain a crude, rough, approximation of justice.
There is no pie in the sky in these days and times for injured people. You must cooperate with your attorney. Work with him. Do your part.
Any good attorney who is going to represent you on a contingency fee basis, and possibly advance, thousands of dollars to properly prepare your case for settlement, or trial, is going to expect you to carry your share of the load, put in the time, make the effort, necessary to win!
Just as you expect, and demand that of him, so he will expect, and demand, it of you. A personal injury case is not unlike life. What we get out of it depends, almost entirely, upon what we put into it!
